Better start gearing up for a rush of orders for this item. When word gets out, owners of side charging uppers from another manufacturer will be stopping by to fix a problem they all have. My next build will be one of your stripped uppers and BCG.
Like other purchasers I bought this to replace another vendors substandard handle. Drilled and tapped the bc and it works great. Much sturdier. Excellent machine work. Keep it up.
Bored out my amidextrious and put this handle in it and it works great. Will buy another one for other gun.
As mentioned in a review by another shooter,I ordered this handle to replace a different manufacturer's charging handle that turned out to be of sub standard construction . My first impression is just wow! The machining is fantastic as well as the finish. I had to drill and tap the bolt carrier to accommodate the larger thread pitch of this beef cake, but it was well worth it. Top notch part eisenach arms, keep up the good work!
Excellent product and fine machining
Had to use 1/4x28 tap with #3 drill bit to drill out my carrier’s too small side charger threaded hole would loosen up but once drilled and tapped the Nitride black handle works great and does not loosen up on my 12.7x42 beast!
I bought this handle to use on my ar10 since tge top charging handle was hitting the cheek piece on my stock. I drilled out my bolt and milled my receiver and this handle was the perfect match. I also like the 2 holes in it for tightening it down and its thick and plenty heavy duty even for a 308 buffer spring. Would buy again.
I purchased the Eisenach Arms side charger to replace the inferior side charging handle that comes with most uppers. I did have to have the bolt carrier tapped for the bigger size, but after doing so I’m more than ecstatic that I did! The previous side charger broke on me and was a two piece design. The one from Eisenach Arms is a solid one piece design that gives no reason to think that it will bend or break!
